Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the rate?

All Inclusive always includes the hotel room, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, taxes and tips. Depending on the package that your group decided on you may have airfare and airport shuttles part of your package.

Do I have to use your travel coordinator?

Our travel coordinator requests the rooms to be together and other small perks to make your stay comfortable. When booking with us, you're dealing with an expert in the US, so there's no miscommunication. In many cases, the group leaders are arranging something during your stay, and the reservations all have to be booked at one place to be valid. In order to secure the group discount, you'll need to book through Destiney's Adventures LLC. If comparing rates, please make sure to add the round trip shuttles to and from the hotel (most sites do not include that in the rate).

If you plan to stay at any resort other than the Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa, then you will only have access 30 minutes before the ceremony until 11PM. You will not be allowed to access the property on any other day for any reason. You must present your passport or driver's license to the front desk when you arrive and a Wedding Day pass (bracelet) will be given to you. That pass must be returned at the end of the wedding and your identification will be returned to you.

Do you price match from travel websites?

Yes! You can be confident knowing that we have the lowest rates. However, if a US based online travel agency has a sale, we are happy to price match their rates for same day bookings.

How do I request a price match?

If you've found a package online at a lower price, contact your travel agent to request a price match. Bear in mind that all components must match exactly. We are able to price match the rates, but not the policies. Price matches must be requested at the initial time of booking.

Do I have to pay for the trip all at once?

No! One of the benefits of booking through Destiney's Adventures LLC is that you can set up a payment plan. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you will have to pay. Reservations must be made by 07/29/2024 and full payment will be due by 08/19/2024.

When do I have to make the final payment?

Final payments are due 45 days prior to travel, so try to make a few occasional payments prior to your final payment deadline to get most of it out of the way. Payment links are available through the booking site for your convenience.

If I book my reservation now, can I add someone later?

You can book your room today and add a person later in the future, but keep in mind the price may change in the future when you're adding someone to your room.

Do I need a passport?

Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We suggest applying a minimum of 3 months in advance as a precaution.

Where/when do I get my boarding pass?

Boarding passes are issued 24 hours prior to departure, and can be issued online directly through the airline's website or picked up at the airport during check in. If airfare is included in your package, please check your travel documents for the airline confirmation code to check in. You should also print your itinerary that will be emailed to you prior to your trip for verification at the airport.

How do I get to the resort and how do shuttles work?

If you're paying for airport shuttles, they will take you to and from your hotel. Upon arrival at your destination, your shuttle will pick you up at the airport and take you to the resort. Before your last day, you'll have to confirm your departure time with the shuttle company so they can retrieve you from the resort and take you to the airport for your flight. Our round trip airport shuttles do not pick up clients at their homes in the U.S. and take them to the home airport nor do they pick you up from the U.S airport and take you home. Shuttles are only available at our destinations to and from your chosen resort.

Can I use American Dollars?

Yes, but many resorts and stores won't take USD, so be sure to prepare your credit and debit cards. Call your bank and let them know the dates you will be gone. Charges made at the resort or elsewhere on your trip may be subject to a foreign transaction fee by your bank (normally 1-3%).​

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT:

I. DEPOSIT:

In order to secure your booking, a deposit of $50 per person MUST be paid no later than July 29, 2024. ​All deposit payments, for land and/or air must be made with credit or debit card only. $50 per person ​is due immediately with your Registration/Booking Form due to space limitations. All bookings are ​created on a first come first served basis. We cannot reserve space without deposit.

II. ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT:

At times, additional deposits may be required for your arrangements and at times, this information ​may be advised after initial quote or confirmation. If applicable, we will advise you as soon as we are ​made aware of this by the supplier.

III. FINAL PAYMENT AND DOCUMENT ISSUANCE:

Final payment and valid passport copies* are due no later than August 19, 2024. For payments within ​65 days of departure or if air tickets and documents need to be issued immediately after payment, ​FULL payment is required. Normally air tickets and travel documents are sent out 21 days prior to ​departure.

The above are our normal final payment terms; however, certain arrangements may require the ​balance of payment earlier.

Important: These are required as per TSA requirements. Tickets cannot be issued without this ​information.

IV. INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS:

By booking with Destiney’s Adventures LLC, you agree to the general/cancellation terms and ​conditions contained herein. Any payment constitutes acceptance of these terms. All policies, ​procedures and terms contained herein are subject to change at any time without notice at Destiney’s ​Adventures sole discretion. Please review the terms and conditions for full details of these dates and ​charges. To make additional payments on your booking, please go to the following link Credit Card ​Authorization Form.

Standard policies, payments and penalties outlined below may be more restrictive during holidays ​and special events. No refunds will be made for special events, shows, or attraction passes.

Payment Plans

$50 per person due IMMEDIATELY

Traveler’s may submit payments as often as you like using a Credit Card Authorization Form. ​However, this experience requires a $50 per person deposit immediately, a minimum of $50 per ​person each month, and final payment on or before August 19, 2024.

Uplift Payment Request

Destiney’s Adventures LLC requires a $25 service fee for all Uplift travel financing application ​request.

V. CANCELLATION:

I. LAND ARRANGEMENTS:

Important Note: Cancellation penalties for some travel arrangements may differ from our general ​conditions. In this occurrence, you will be advised of these addendums at the time of confirmation or ​prior to any penalties becoming applicable and as soon as we are notified of these special conditions. ​Destiney’s Adventures charges $50 per person for all cancellations. This fee may or may not be ​covered by travel insurance.

VI. INSURANCE:

It is strongly recommended that clients purchase cancellation insurance to protect themselves ​against cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In the event a traveler becoming ill during ​a tour and has not purchased insurance, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler's ​responsibility. Based on the Supplier's current cancellation policies the passenger may incur up to ​100% cancellation penalties and should protect themselves with cancellation insurance.

Insurance MUST be purchased within 14 days of individual client deposits or payments being made ​and only covers pre-existing conditions. After that time, you waive your right to be covered for pre-​existing conditions. Once purchased, the premium is non-refundable.

Rates: All rates are subject to reconfirmation at the time of the policy being purchased. We will be ​happy to quote current rates, however these are not guaranteed until the policy is purchased.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON INSURANCE: Destiney's Adventures, LLC cannot offer insurance to clients ​who are non-US or Canadian residents or if they reside in Quebec.

VII. PASSPORT & VISA INFORMATION*:

Please ensure that passport books are valid for the minimum validity required for ALL destinations ​being traveled to. The information following only applies to the itinerary booked with Destiney's ​Adventures LLC and its Suppliers and does not cover any independently arranged destinations. ​Passports should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from your scheduled return date.

VIII. VISAS

Dominican Republic: At time of this quotation, there is no visa requirement for US citizens stays ​under 30 days. Applies to US passport holders only. Please make sure that all destinations to be ​visited or transited verified with the applicable consulate(s) for entry requirements prior to ​departure, together with requirements for anyone travelling on non-US passports.

IX. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All passengers are required to fill out an E-Ticket or paper form when entering or exiting the ​Dominican Republic. If using E-Ticket, a new form is required for each entry and exit, and the code ​generated upon form completion can be presented at the airport on a digital device.

X. For any tourism visa applicant less than 18 years old and traveling either with relatives or with 1 or ​both parents, it is mandatory to send the below documentations:

• Consanguinity proof (birth certificate when traveling with parents as their names will be mentioned ​there or other proof to be provided when traveling with second- or third-degree relatives like aunts, ​uncles, grandparents).

• Copy of valid passport of the parent/s or accompanying relative.

• Copy of valid visa, either visit or residence or application copy of the parent/s or accompanying ​relative.

• Birth certificate of the underage applicant.

XI. MEDICATIONS

GENERAL:

XIII. CURRENCY AND PRICING FLUCTUATIONS

This proposal is based on the current exchange rate(s). Should there be considerable currency ​fluctuations, we reserve the right to apply any necessary surcharges. In the event of any additional ​fuel surcharges by the Land Suppliers and/or airlines, we reserve the right to add these to the costs ​of the land package and/or airfare. Any applicable increases will be advised in writing prior to final ​payment. Prices are not guaranteed and based on availability at the current date once payment has ​been made.

XIV. FORCE MAJEURE:

We shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of ​any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, ​including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, ​blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed ​by government authorities.

XV. RESPONSIBILITIES

Destiney's Adventures LLC, the Supplier, and/or its agents act only as agents for the client in all ​matters pertaining to travel. They assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the ​service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either ​wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for ​any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned ​by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person ​engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. In the event that it ​becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers, or for any reason ​whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to ​the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely refund will be ​made to the passengers if any saving is affected thereby. The airlines concerned are not to be held ​responsible for any act, omission, or event, during the time passengers are not on board their planes ​or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute ​the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The right ​is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should condition warrant, also to decline to accept or retain ​any passengers as Members of the tours. Destiney's Adventures LLC, the Supplier, or agent can ​assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.

XVI. Additional Terms and Conditions

• Submitting a deposit and payments for this package signifies your acceptance of Destiney’s ​Adventures LLC’s Terms and Conditions and its Supplier’s Terms and Conditions.
  
• All deposits and payments submitted to Destiney’s Adventures LLC are non-refundable and non-​transferable. We have contractual agreements with multiple vendors that will not allow us to ​obtain refunds.
  
• You are strongly encouraged to protect your travel investment by purchasing travel protection ​insurance. Get A Quote
  
• Reservations must be made in your full name as it appears on your U.S. Passport.
  
• Cancelation request will incur a $50 per person fee. Cancelation Request Form
  
• Names changes allowed with approval and a $30 name change fee after the first change. Name ​Change Form
  
• Name changes will not be allowed 120 days prior to trip start date.
  
• A monthly payment schedule is required to keep your reservation current. We require a minimum ​of $50 per person.
  
• The final payment due date August 19, 2024, cannot be changed.
  
• A late payment fee of $25 will automatically be added to your reservation if the monthly payment ​is not received within 3 days of the scheduled due date.
  
• You must ensure that your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.
  
• Credit Card authorization form for ALL additional reservation payments. Credit Card ​Authorization Form
  
• Final payment must be received on or before August 19, 2024. Failure to submit the final payment ​as required will result in an automatic cancellation of the entire reservation. Destiney’s ​Adventures LLC will not be held responsible for any loss of funds due to cancellation.
  

XVII. IMPORTANT REGARDING COVID-19 AND IMPACT ON TRAVEL:

It is the individual's responsibility to keep themselves informed of all requirements in relation to ​their trip and any COVID-19 based restrictions, and we suggest these are constantly monitored right ​up until departure, as they can change at any time. The same applies to any travel companions and all ​members of a group who may be travelling.

Destiney's Adventures LLC, its host agency and/or suppliers are not liable for any loss due to failure ​to read and understand this information, as the considerations included in this document may be ​critical to your upcoming trip.
